The 2,500 hectare Inhazonia Ranch provides expansion capacity for beef herd.

Located 25km north of Mozbife's Mavonde Stud Ranch, the 2,500 hectare Inhazonia Ranch was acquired by the Company in January 2013. Once Mozbife's two stage irrigation programme has been implemented, Inhazonia, which is used as a grass fattening ranch, will have ~120 hectares of irrigated pasture with carrying capacity in excess of 2,200 steers aged between 12-15 months prior to them being sent to the feedlot.

Beef consumption in Mozambique has been steadily rising and is forecast to continue to grow in the future as living standards across the country improve.
